It was on this day five years ago that I married the love of my life, Aaron. In some ways it seems like just yesterday, and in other ways it seems like we have been married much longer (in a good way). I enjoy being married to Aaron! He brings out the best in me. He is so sweet to me, and has cared for and loved me more than I could have imagined. God blessed me with a wonderful husband, and I am so grateful for that.
A quick re-cap of the last 5 years:
-Honeymooned in Colorado Springs
-House sat for 7 months in Texas then packed up and moved to Oklahoma. We lived in Moore, OK for one year and then moved out to Yukon, OK.
-Aaron has worked for Discount Tire Company the whole 5 years (and more) which has provided for me to stay at home.
-We found a wonderful church home at FBC Mustang.
-We welcomed Jason Ryan into our family in January 2011 after much waiting and prayer (and a lot of doctors).
-After much more prayer and even more doctors, we welcomed two more precious blessings into our family, Gideon Michael and Bethany Paige. They arrived in January 2013, exactly 2 years and 2 weeks after Jason was born.
I have been blessed to stay home with our children. I have become a much better cook over the last 5 years (I didn't cook much when I lived at home with my parents). I was able to serve as a children's leader in Bible Study Fellowship for a couple years, and I just LOVED doing that! I spend my days caring for our home, my husband and our kids.
Aaron spends his days working hard to provide for all of us. We are so thankful for his job with DTC. He is a wonderful father and spiritual leader.
We spend as much time together as we can. We frequent the zoo and parks. We have taken little family vacations to places like Michigan, Ohio, and Texas. We have gone camping a couple of times. We have dodged tornadoes, gone to many baseball games, played tennis, and survived bed rest. We have laughed and cried together. So many wonderful memories!
We are blessed! Here's to many, many more years!!!
that was then
